A Pacific Northwest native, 5th generation Oregonian, daughter of pioneers. Seeking a life of clarity, lived outside. Fighting for the voice of Nature.
This is a journal of travels, thoughts on sustainable living, a place for me to write and share images of my home and travels.
Children of Space is Khalil Gibran's description of people who are home in nature. They are the ones who do not feel lost in wandering, or chained to their places of origin.
"Verily the lust for comfort murders the passion of the soul, and then walks grinning in the funeral.
But you, children of space, you restless in rest, you shall not be trapped nor tamed.
Your house shall be not an anchor but a mast."
I teach undergraduate graphic design at Oregon State University, and graduate sustainable design through Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
